Are your rates negotiable?

Music is a gift, and financial need should never prevent someone from learning or creating. While standard rates reflect professional time and preparation, financial assistance or adjusted arrangements may be considered in cases of genuine need. Please feel free to ask.

Private Music Lessons
Do I need a piano at home?

Yes. Consistent access to a keyboard or piano is essential for progress.

What ages do you teach?

Lessons are available for students as young as age 3, through teens and adults.

How often should I practice?

Practice frequency depends on age and skill level, but generally at a minimum:

  • Beginners students: At least 15 minutes per day

  • Intermediate students: 30–45 minutes per day

  • Advanced students: 45–60 minutes per day or more depending on goals

Consistent daily practice helps ensure real progress between lessons.

Do lesson packages expire?

No. Packages never expire and may be transferred upon request.

Can parents sit in on lessons?

Yes. Parents are always welcome to observe their child’s lessons and are encouraged to support home practice.

What materials do I need?

Students will need their instrument at home and any books or materials assigned during lessons.

What types of accompaniment do you offer?

Can you learn my music ahead of time?

How do I reserve my date?
